Tendring First has always listened to its residents and, against the national trend, embedded weekly collections in its long- term waste and recycling contracts. It also has resulted in considerable amounts of money being saved, as this link shows:

This is why, in July 2009, the Tendring First-led opposition forced an amendment to the TDC Conservative Cabinet’s proposal at Full Council, as a result of which weekly waste and recycling collections were preserved.
